Prof. Ilemobayo Oguntimehin started his lecturing career as a graduate assistant in 1999 at the Chemistry department of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) before joining the Department in 2012 as a Senior Lecturer. He bagged his PhD in Environmental Dynamics and Management, an important aspect of Environmental Chemistry. His research interest includes among others (i) Quantitative extractions of metals and fate of heavy metals from different sources and their ecological impacts on the Biosphere The output of his research work both in local and international circle is of high impacts. A total of about thirty (30) publications have been credited to his research activities. He is a recipient of prestigious Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS) postdoctoral fellowship award. He also won Japanese Government Monbukagakusho MEXT scholarship award among others. Dr. Oguntimehin belongs to many professional bodies both within and outside Nigeria. Among them is the Japan Society for Atmospheric Environment (JSAE), American Chemical Society (ACS) and Inter-American Photochemical Society.

Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa was established by the Ondo State government in 2008. It was initially named as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH).
It is a technology-based institution, which aims at providing the needed manpower training for industrial and technological development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.
