Dr. (Miss) Aanuoluwapo Patricia Fapetu joined the department as a lecturer II in 2020, holds a PhD degree in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Technology Akure. Her area of specialization is drug design and phytomedicine, which involves the use of bioactive component of natural products as a potential drug candidate in treatment of diseases. Her strong bioassay study skills include in vitro assays of enzyme markers, antioxidant parameters and in vivo experimental models.

Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa was established by the Ondo State government in 2008. It was initially named as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH).
