The University management wishes to address the circulation of a fraudulent memo on the social media, purportedly issued by an Acting Registrar, instructing all graduating students to pay a specified Graduation fee. This information is false and did not originate from the Registrar's office or any department within the University.
For clarity, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa (OAUSTECH) has had a substantive Registrar in place since January 4, 2024; there is no Acting Registrar.
We advise all members of the University community to disregard this misleading and inaccurate information.
