Prof. Ologunorisa made the disclosure during the 3rd convocation of the University held on Tuesday, 4 March, 2025 at the main campus of the institution in Okitipupa.
He stated that out of the total of 995 graduated for the session, 367 were in the second class upper division, 495 in the second class lower division and 102 in the third class category.
The fourth substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University, who is also a world class climate scientist, added that the institution equally produced its first set of postgraduate students, out of which 16 bagged Master's of Science and the other four bagged Postgraduate Diploma in STEM Education.
Concluding, the Vice-Chancellor congratuted the graduands and urge them to never stop learning, reminding them that the University has equipped them not only with knowledge and skills, but also with values of excellence, integrity and service.
"Congratulations. Your achievements filled us with pride, and we have no doubt that you will go on to achieve great things in your respective fields. As you step into the world, continue to be curious and open-minded, embrace new challenges with enthusiasm and determination. Remember that the future belongs to those who dare to dream and act on their dreams. Be good ambassadors of OAUSTECH. Be agents of positive change and be leaders that our nation and the world need", Ologunorisa charged.
