In his acceptance speech, Elusoji appreciated the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Temi Ologunorisa, and his management team for their transparency and fairness during the election process. He also thanked his parents, Mr. Sunday and Mrs. Kehinde Elusoji, for their love and support.
The new Student Union President promised to prioritize students' welfare, transparency, accountability, and commitment to surpassing the records of his predecessors. He emphasized the importance of collective efforts, stating that his election is a victory for all students.
Elusoji's father, Mr. Sunday Elusoji, expressed his gratitude to God for allowing him to witness his son's inauguration. He advised the new executive to work together for the benefit of the students and the university's continuous development.
The event was attended by notable university officials, including the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Temi Ologunorisa, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. David Aworinde, the Registrar, Mr. Peter Abiodun Okunniga, the University Bursar, Mr. Ganiyu Aminu, the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Daniel Adekeye, and the Deputy Director, Information Protocol and Public Relations, Mr. Paul Adeagbo.

The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by the Head of the University Legal Unit, Barr. Pius Oyewumi. The new executive presented the Vice-Chancellor with the award of "Architect of the Modern Day OAUSTECH."
