A renowned geoscience scholar, Prof. Jimmy Adegoke, has enjoined Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Nigeria to enter into educational partnership with the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC), Missouri, United States of America for its staff and students to benefit immensely from the scholarship and research collaboration opportunities available at the institution.

The University of Texas at Austin (UTA), United States of America has offered two full PhD funding to two Doctoral candidates from Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Nigeria from start to completion to provide assistance to the Nigerian institution as part of their collaborations.

Morgan State University (MSU), Baltimore, Maryland, the United States of America and Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State, Nigeria have begun talks on mutually beneficial collaborations and partnerships.

The initial discussion about a win-win partnership started on 14 May, 2022 when OAUSTECH's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Temi Ologunorisa, discussed at length with the Executive Director, Global Partnership-Africa, Morgan State University, Prof. Hakeem Tijani in the US.

The student Affairs Office is established to offer supportive services that will facilitate the removal of all hindrances to effective learning situations; whatever it is that could hinder students from performing at the best of their abilities.

This Division of the Vice-Chancellor’s office which deals with the coordination of student affairs is headed by professor with the title “Dean of Students Affairs”. He reports to the Vice-Chancellor for the effective execution of those policies formulated by Student Welfare Board and approved by the Vice-Chancellor.

UNIVERSITY COLOURS

The University colours are marine blue and brick red. The marine blue colour represents sea/ocean which charactersitics the physical environment of the location of the University while brick red colour symbolizes science and technology.

LOGO

The logo of the University consists of a shield containing an open book symbolizing knowledge, a wheel and laboratory materials depicting science and technology; all supported by a banner on which the motto of the University is inscribed.

I, Prof. Temi Emmanuel Ologunorisa, Vice-Chancellor, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State, on behalf of Senate, Management and students, seize this opportunity to felicitate with all the Muslim faithful in the University, Ondo State, Nigeria and across the globe, on this auspicious occasion of 1443AH (2022) Eid-el-Adha celebration in commemoration of the unforgettable legacies of the father of faith, Prophet Ibrahim (Peace be on him, his progenies and people of his household). Thus, this makes it possible for students, researchers, professionals, and other interested users to search and access information in various databases that are capable of meeting their information needs.

THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARY

Olusegun Agagu State University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) Library and Documentation Centre came on board with the establishment of the University. The University Library is where information sources for all academic programmes offered at the University are stored and used for intellectual development. We have in our collections current books, journals, monographs, reference works, annual reports, and electronic resources, etc. Our primary audience is the staff and students of the university. The Library also serves as a reference point for information acquisition to other sister institutions around us and the community in general. All bonafide users of the library are expected to register with the library and present their library pass on demand.
