The Registrar, Mr. Abiodun Peter Okunniga, who received the donors on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor on Wednesday, 13th May, 2026 in his office, commended them for the donation of health campaign and anti-social vices signposts to the University.
He stressed that the messages in the sign post would impact on the students, making them safety conscious and reminding them of acceptable norms and prohibitions of the University.
He seized the opportunity to appeal to the donors to donate or leverage on their goodwill to facilitate donations of hostels, lecture theaters and equipment to the University, saying that the institution looked forward to a more robust philanthropical relationship in the years ahead.
In his remarks, the Acting Dean, Student Affairs, Dr. Daniel Adekeye recalled that the donors had consistently demonstrated their love and passion for the growth of the University and its students, praying that God Almighty would continue to enrich their pockets.
The University's Guidance and Counseling Unit facilitated the donation of the signpost.
